(a) Nairobi = There are two Nairobi conventions as follow:

1] The Nairobi Convention 1985 = Convention for the Development, Protection, Management and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment of the Western Indian Ocean = The Nairobi Convention is a partnership between governments, civil society and the private sector, working towards a prosperous Western Indian Ocean Region with healthy rivers, coasts and oceans. The Convention provides the legal basis for States to remove, or have removed, shipwrecks that may have the potential to affect adversely the safety of lives, goods and property at sea, as well as the marine environment.
